Welcome to the Institute of Accessible Technology (IAT). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the IAT website (https://www.instituteofaccesstech.com/) and all associated courses, services, content, and products provided by IAT.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

1. Definitions

  • “Service” means the website, online courses, workshops, consulting services, and any digital content offered by IAT.
  • “User,” “You,” or “Your” refers to the individual or entity accessing or using the Service.
  • “IAT,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our” refers to the Institute of Accessible Technology.

  • Course Material Licensing: When you purchase a course, you are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the course material for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. Sharing or distributing course login credentials or materials is strictly prohibited and constitutes a breach of these Terms.

3. User Accounts and Conduct

When you create an account with us, you guarantee that you are above the age of 18, and that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Inaccurate, incomplete, or obsolete information may result in the immediate termination of your account.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
  • You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or any purpose prohibited by these Terms.
  • You agree not to harass, abuse, or harm another person, or engage in any conduct that is unlawful, or infringes upon the rights of others.

4. Course Enrollment and Refunds

All course enrollments are subject to availability and acceptance by IAT.

  • Fees: All fees are stated in the currency specified on the site and are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise in a separate refund policy document specific to the course.
  • Cancellations: IAT reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course or service at any time. In such an event, enrolled users will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their enrollment to a future date.

5. Third-Party Links and Advertising

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by IAT. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services.

We use third-party advertising, including Google AdSense, to serve content and advertisements when you visit our website. IAT is not responsible for the content, effectiveness, or security of these advertisements.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall IAT, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

IAT and its affiliates do not warrant that a) the Service will function uninterrupted, secure or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the Service will meet your requirements.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ghana.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
