Advanced Word Processing with Microsoft Word using a screen reader is designed for visually impaired users who have mastered basic word processing skills and are ready to unlock the full potential of Microsoft Word. This course focuses on advanced document creation, management, and collaboration techniques, all navigated and executed efficiently with the JAWS screen reader. Participants will learn to work with complex document structures, apply and manage advanced styles and templates, manipulate tables with sorting and formulas, and use references, citations, and mail merge features. The course also covers accessibility best practices, document validation, and customization of both Word and JAWS for maximum productivity. Through hands-on activities and real-world scenarios, learners will gain the confidence and expertise to produce professional, accessible documents and collaborate effectively in academic or workplace environments.
