Personalized and Group-Based Assistive Technology Training
The Institute of Accessible Technology (IAT) provides private and group-based training on assistive technology, designed to support persons with disabilities—especially individuals who are blind or visually impaired—to build independence, confidence, and productivity.
Whether you prefer one-on-one coaching or collaborative group sessions, our training is tailored to participants’ learning pace, goals, and real-world needs.
Expert Trainers and Customized Learning Pathways
Our experienced trainers deliver hands-on instruction in a wide range of assistive technologies, including screen readers, Braille displays, magnification software, voice recognition tools, and adaptive hardware.
We also offer structured private and group training in in-demand digital and technology skills such as Python programming, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, data analytics, website development, and WordPress development—fully adapted for non-visual access.
In addition, we provide essential digital literacy and office productivity training, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Email Management (Outlook or Gmail), and effective internet navigation using assistive technologies.
Training for Individuals, Groups, and Support Networks
IAT’s private or group training services are open to learners of all ages and ability levels. Our goal is to empower individuals and groups to access information, communicate effectively, and participate fully in education, employment, and everyday digital life.
We also offer group training and capacity-building support for educators, caregivers, institutions, and organizations seeking to better assist users of assistive technology.
